Genesis Settings
The Amare demo is set to have an image logo (which is included in the skin). You´ll find that in Genesis Theme settings – Use for site title/logo: Image logo. If you use Dynamic text there, you might run into spacing problems if title and/or tagline are too long.
Logo/Title
Included Amare Logo image is 160px width and 50px height. If you use a logo with different dimensions, you need to do edits in Dynamik Design – Header (Header minimum height and Title Area Width/Height) and Dynamik Design – Skins – Amare (Basic) – CSS (read the comments):
/* Set width and height to size of your logo when image in use! */
Menus
- In Appearance – Menus, set up a menu for the Header Right widget area. Go to Appearance – Widgets, drag a Custom Menu widget into Header Right widget area and choose that menu in the dropdown and save.
- In Appearance – Menus, set up a second, identical menu and at the bottom (Menu Settings), click the checkbox “Primary Navigation Menu”. This menu will replace the header menu on mobiles and show up as a hamburger menu. If you see a reason, you could also use different (or less) menu items here. However, that might be confusing.
- In Appearance – Menus, you CAN set up a secondary menu also (click the checkbox at the bottom accordingly). This is the colored one with descriptions seen in the demo. This is optional.
How to get the menu descriptions for the secondary menu:
In Appearance – Menus, click the “Screen Options” button top right on your screen. Make sure the “Description” checkbox is checked. Create your menu. For every item, click on the “down” arrow to reveal the options, then enter a (short!) description in the Description box. Don´t forget to save when you´re done.
Due to the fixed header, you can only use the primary menu with the following option checked in Dynamik Design – Responsive – click Show/Hide button:
“Are you using a Header Menu? Use Primary Menu as a mobile version of the Header Menu”.
If you uncheck this, the primary menu will be visible, but moved up to run under the transparent header on frontpage. Also, the header menu will not display as a hamburger menu any more. Not pretty.

Fat Footer
You´ll find the settings in Dynamik Design – EZ – Fat Footer EZ-Widget Areas. Imported setting is: Visible everywhere. If you don´t plan to use the Feature Top, just uncheck the checkboxes and set “Select A Fat Footer Layout” to “Disabled”.
The layout is set to “EZ Fat Footer 3” (you can choose a different layout here again). You can change the settings and colors to your liking.

Custom CSS
You´ll find the custom CSS for the skin in Dynamik Design – Skins – Amare (Basic) – CSS (button, click).
You might have to go there to change some colors and logo size. Basic understanding of CSS is required. The code is organized, please read the comments.
